Meet Enchanté's Artists

Wendy

Wendy has a passion for showing clients how they can easily maintain the same styles she creates for them at Enchante, later when they are at home. Her services include makeovers that range from new shaping to dynamic and innovative hair styles with mind blowing scalp massages. Check her biography for more information and pictures of some of her designs.

Taylor

Over 20 years ago Taylor began styling hair. Influenced by his extensive education and international travel, Taylor has developed a true passion for hair styling. His education includes in depth advance courses at Suki's academy, the Classic course at Toronto's Vidal Salon Academy and a wide array of hair seminars to keep current. Strong classical lines and the Sassoon philosophy demand the right geometry and shape which is the focus of Taylor's work.

Dean

Dean is our Oscar winner of the year, and is the life of the salon. He has over 25 years of extensive hair experience. He started in Calgary at the Glenmore School of Beauty, and continued to the Sassoon Advance School in London, England. Dean has done hair for film, editorial work and fashion layouts for magazines such as Toronto Life, Georgia Straight, Canadian Flair, and Vancouver magazine. He has done runway work for Wella and Sassoon, and has taught junior stylists at Suki’s. He has done choreography and make-up for fashion shows and charity work. Dean has owned a few salons including the Joan Dean Gallery, Olio, The Parlour/Mischief of Envy and Stoodeo in Yaletown. Dean specializes in cut and colours.

Jessica

Jessica likes to sing and swing but most of all she does hair. Oh can she do hair. There ain’t nothin this girl can’t tackle. Originally from south Korea where she worked with television and other celebrities in the affluent area of Ap Ku-jung, she now calls the west coast her home. She’s a bundle of fire that energizes the whole salon with her effervescent optimism. She’s been part of the team at Enchante for a couple of years now and proved she’s more than capable to handle any client’s needs that enter the salon. The final product is always a masterpiece and the repeat clientele are a clear indication of her talent.

Raymond

Co-creator and now owner, Raymond Starr’s dedication to steadily improving the salon and services offered to clients has resulted in a fresh and modern environment at Enchante. Over the past five years he has transformed the salon into the hottest salon in the West End. Selecting just the right stylists to meet all clients needs from bobs to updos, straightening and make-overs too.

Micheal

Our junior stylist is a welcoming vivacious personality who is passionate about your beauty. His talent come naturally as he is the second generation stylist born into the industry . Hair care goes beyond providing service. Educating clients on the needs pertaining to their specific style and health of their hair is paramount. He’s friendly, professional and very energetic. Michael enjoys focussing on creating customized looks for every client, often taking years off their appearance by emphasizing their natural beauty. Keeping current is a continual process in staying ahead of the style curve and it shows in Michael’s work.

Jason

With an unbeatable sense of humour, Jason delivers professional hair styling with a clean finish that’s indicative of his 17 years of experience. Jason’s earlier years were spent in Edmonton, where he came to realized he was born to style hair. As he explored is passion he became the in-house educator for colour and permanent waving in an Aveda concept salon he shared ownership. Jason specializes in long hair, invigorating scalp massages.

Claudio

Born in Argentina Claudio became fluent in Spanish and Italian. He then moved to Italy where he studied hairdressing. After learning the classic styles of Italy he then moved to London. Enjoying the more cutting edge styles of London, he joined Tony & Guy where he mastered the use of L’Oreal colour. After staying ten years, he relocated over to Canada and landed in the West End where he brings all this talent to his clients at Enchante.
